Al Ain U23 started its journey to defend the title of the U23 Pro League with a thrilling victory over Baniyas U23 with the score of 3-1. This victory came in the match that brough the two teams together on the green pitch of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, during the 1st round of competitions of the local tournament.
Amadou Saidou Niang, who is the Senegalese center back defender for Al Ain U23 Club, opened scoring for his team on the minute of 37. Ahmed Fawzi Johar Faraj Abdulla, who is the Emirati center forward player for Baniyas U23 Club, scored the equalizer for his team on the minute of 45+4. So, match’s first half was over with a positive draw, one goal for each team.
During match’s second half, Al Ain U23 Club maintained its continuous scoring attempt, in search for the leading goal, until Yussif Suleiman, who is the Emirati center back defender, managed to score the second goal on the minute of 90+4. His teammate Mouhammed Diop added the 3rd goal on the minute of 90+9, emphasizing over the victory of “The Boss” and claiming the first three points in the beginning of their journey to defend the title.
With this victory Al Ain U23 Club inaugurated the new season with a successful kick off, adding the first three points to its aggregate in their journey to defend the title of U23 Pro League.
