We are determined to respond strongly and continue our title defence
Al Ain fans are our source of strength, and we look forward to their support in the stands
Al Ain’s Egyptian international defender, Ramy Rabia, has described the upcoming UAE President’s Cup encounter against Shabab Al Ahli as an important challenge, stressing that the players are determined to produce a strong response that reflects the team’s character and ambition to defend the prestigious title.
“We have spoken among ourselves and agreed that we must give our very best and produce a strong response on the pitch,” Rabia said. “We fully understand what it means to wear the Al Ain badge and the responsibility that comes with it. We also know how much our supporters expect from us. We must turn that responsibility into performance, fighting spirit and concentration throughout the match, because what matters most is what we deliver on the pitch.”
He added: “The UAE President’s Cup is a prestigious competition that holds a special place in the hearts of everyone at the club and among our supporters. We respect Shabab Al Ahli and recognise the difficulty of the challenge, but we believe in our ability to deliver a performance worthy of Al Ain’s ambitions. Our objective is clear: to win, advance to the next round and continue defending the title.”
Concluding with a message to Al Ain supporters, Rabia said: “Al Ain fans never need an invitation. They have always stood by the team through every challenge. Their presence gives us additional strength and motivation to perform at our best. We look forward to their support in the stands, and we will give everything we have to live up to their expectations and bring them the joy they deserve.”
