Hernán Crespo, the Argentine manager of Al Ain, emphasized during the introductory press conference for his team’s match vs Dabbah Al Hisn, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, the day after tomorrow, on the pitch of Hazza Bin Zayed stadium, and comes in the seventh round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League, that his team have exerted immense efforts during the last two matches, so they will be adopting the policy of complete readiness while selecting the team’s starting lineup.
He went on: After the day after tomorrow’s match on Friday, we have not to forget that we will be leaving directly to Cairo to take on our match vs Al Ahli in the competitions of the Intercontinental Cup. So, everyone is well aware that we are required to claim a positive result there, accordingly, we have to reach Egypt with a state of full readiness, because the match’s atmosphere may force the two teams to play extra time, we are also required to deal with the manner needed while preparing the players for the upcoming two matches vs Al Ahli and Saudi Al Nasr.
Commenting on a question about his team‘s scoring several goals during the last match, he said: “I agree with you that we are required to strike a balance between forward power and correcting defensive mistakes, so we scored several goals. While we were the most dangerous on the forward side of football and scored several goals, accordingly, we have to improve our performance on the defensive side of football.”
In response to a question about the state of the team’s midfielder Yahia Nader and the expected absent players in the team’s match vs Dabbah, he said: “At the moment, we are working on the recovery of the players as I have already mentioned to you, we are also keen to grant the opportunity for the players who played fewer matches as starting players to participate in the team’s match vs Dabbah. As for Yahia Nader, he will be with us on the substitute players lineup, and we might engage him in the match’s second half according to how ready he is. Also, we will not risk any players, and I have full confidence in the abilities of my team players.”
