Al Ain Club team captain, Bandar Al Ahbabi, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to Al Ain Football Club Company’s Board of Directors, headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for their continuous support, unlimited interest and exceptional initiatives that have enhanced the one- family spirit among Ainawi fans, emphasizing: “The initiative taken by the Board of Directors to open the training sessions for Ainawi fans has warmed our hearts, which is not strange, as the atmosphere of training has been converted into an official match. I think that Al Ain fans always deserve appreciation because they have always confirmed over time that they are the best ever. We look forward to do our best in order to make them happy, and we’re well aware that they deserve the best.”

Regarding their preparations for Al Orouba match, he said: “Actually, our preparations are going well under the supervision of the new technical staff led by Leonardo Jardim, and the players are keen to implement the technical plans to achieve the team’s goals this season.”

Commenting on a question about the challenges that Al Ain has been confronting against teams that are not competing for the lead, he said: “Reality confirms that we have entered a new phase with great ambitions. The challenges we confronted during the previous stages are now behind our backs and we must learn from those lessons. Al Ain players will not be broken by such losses. I think that there is no easy match and we’ll always seek to demonstrate seriousness and concentration to satisfy the Ainawi fans and the club’s enthusiasts everywhere.”

“In football, it is usual to suffer from negative results, but here at Al Ain Club, our goals will remain decisive and we will work hard to achieve them. We look forward to ascending the coronation podiums. Last season, we faced greater challenges than this season. Despite our failure in local competitions, we’ve managed to please our leadership and fans with the AFC Champions League. In this season, we also have great aspirations and ambitions and we will strive to achieve them, God willing,” he added.
