Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba: I am looking forwards to claim more accomplishments with the boss of the United Arab Emirates football and I do not consider the personal titles
We are required to claim victory in our match vs Al Jazeera and we do respect the ambitions of all competing teams
The “international” Togolese striker at Al Ain football club, Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, said during his speech at the introductory press conference for his team’s match vis Al Jazeera which is scheduled to take place tomorrow on the pitch if Mohammed Bin Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, and during the competitions of the tenth round of ADNOC Pro League: “Before every match we work hard to reach the required state of physical and mental readiness, while our preparations to take on our match vs Al Jazeera are going very well and with great commitment because we are well aware of the importance of claiming victory in this match, we are also well aware that ADNOC Pro League is among our sought after goals in this season, so I wish for the team to be blessed with success and to return form Al Jazeera’s stadium with the match’s three points with all due respect to the home team and all other competing teams.”
Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba also added that best goal he scored was in the net of Al Jazeera, he said:“I have scored several goals but I think that the best goal I have ever scored in the matches we played vs Al Jazeera was when I had the opportunity to move freely, then I placed the ball within the net through the space over the goalkeeper. From my personal perspective, I think it was the best.”
Commenting on the news of him reaching the title of the historical scorer on the level of foreign players withing ADNOC Pro League, he said: “I was in a shock when I read the news on the papers, so I will not be divulging a secret if I told you that this is among my priorities. Because my sought after goal will always be to assist my team mates by scoring goals or creating chances for may teammates, while my concentration is fully focused on claiming victory in our matches, but I am happy with what I have achieved up until now.This is because we are working hard, and we will keep working to realize the team’s sought after goals. Sometimes we face some difficult times, but with the collective work and the continuous efforts we will keep going to claim the positive results.”
Al Ain’s striker concludes his speech by saying: “In fact I do not consider myself as simply a football player at Al Ain football club. Because when you spend more than five years with the team you will feel that you have become an integral part of this family. And this is what I fell in reality, so I am very happy and proud for being one of the members of the Ainawi family, and I am looking forward to claim more title with the club.”
