Amidst magnificent familial atmospheres, the academy sector along with the football school at Al Ain sports and cultural club hosted Baraeem festival, which is being organized under the auspices of the national football confederation for the sake of those who are within the under nine years old category of age. The festival was organized with the participation of the following football clubs: Al Ain (who is the hosting body), Al Wahda football club, Al Jazira football club, Shabab Al Ahli football club, as well as Falcon Academy.

The festival witnessed a magnificent attendance by the participating teams, as well as the parents.

Andrea, who is the head manager of the football school, expressed his great appreciation for Al Ain sports and cultural club and the national football confederation over the immense attention for football within the United Arab Emirates, as well as facilitating all reasons to improve all categories of age. This trend is based on the futuristic vision of football in the United Arab Emirates. He also explained that the purpose of these festivals is to grant the young players a great opportunity to enjoy practicing football according to the approved regulations and laws by the international football confederation (FIFA), away from concentrating on claiming the title of football tournaments, which is what specialists believe in.

Andrea also pointed out that the purpose of the festival’s rules and laws is to assist players to improve and enhance their set of skills, this assistance comes by removing pressures away from the young players. Those laws also included teaching them the correct technique on how to behave when facing different situations, starting from the goalkeeper, through all lines of play, reaching to those players who are on the substitutes benches, while giving them the required confidence in their performance inside and outside the pitch.

Andrea concluded his speech by saying: “We extend our words of gratitude to the national football confederation over organizing such festivals, which include the best football clubs on the level of the United Arab Emirates While each team consists of fifteen players, and matches are to be played without accounting for the results, which is something that bolsters an interactive educational and developmental environment for the young players.”
