Vladimir Ivić describes Al Ain vs Al Wasl match as equal
Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, confirmed that his team’s match vs its host Al Wasl as an equal match, as each team created equal scoring chances with a rate of 50% for every team. During the match’s evaluative press conference, he explained that, during halftime, special directions were issued to his players, which are related to defensive control over the competing team, but the team took one goal with the onset of the match’s second half.
In his response to a question over the absence of the fighting spirit, when compared to his team’s match vs Kalba, Ivić said the following statement: “I do not think that it is only related to the fighting spirit, because this game relies on several factors, among which we have discipline, tackling, concentration, carrying out instructions, as well as the forward and defensive transformations.
Al Ain’s head coach added that since taking on the task, some three weeks ago, he has been working with the team with strong desire to improve and enhance performance, confirming that everyone works with strong desire to be up to expectations to realize the sought after goals.
