Vladimir Ivić: Looking forward to claim victory over Al Wahda and always seeking to prepare the team technically and mentally
During the introductory press conference for the match that will being his team together with Al Wahda, Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, confirmed that derby matches are special and characterized by strength and rivalry between two big teams, he also stressed that the team seeks to claim victory and the match’s three points, despite being well aware that the task will not be easy vs a good competing team.
Ivić said the following statement: “We are working to prepare the team technically and mentally to show up with a different mentality than the one with which we played our previous match vs Al Wasl, which is a matter that requires high concentration all match long.”
Over the style of play which will be adopted in Al Wahda match, Ivić clarified: “In football realm there are two teams competing to claim victory, while each team has its own tactical style of play on the defensive and forward sides of football. During the past 15 years, analyzing data has become an integral part of the modern football realm, because it allows us to accurately study the competing team , which assists us in concentrating over our strengths and utilizing gabs within the competing team’s ranks and to stop its danger sources. This means that I am well aware of how each coach prepares his team, but all in all, we will not reveal our coaching plans to the public.”
Ivić added the following statement: “Out sought after goal will always be to claim victory and the match’s three points. While in our previous match vs Al Wasl, we sought to claim victory, but as I have already mentioned to you, there are certain factors that we cannot control, like some mistakes that are considered an integral part of the game, as well as the individual impacts that may affect match’s result. Even though, we keep working to improve our performance and fortifying the team.”
