People of determination ignite passions at Hafeet Sport Challenge with an enthusiastic launch
Al Qattara Stadium hosts 6 fierceconfrontations at the Institutions Championships tonight
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, the first version of Hafeet Sport Challenge competitions kicked off yesterday at Al Ain Club for People of Determination Stadium, amidst a sporting atmosphere full of enthusiasm and public interaction.
This Championship represents a distinctive sporting hub that enhances community integration and provides an inspiring competitive environment for People of Determination. It aims also to empower athletes from different categories, encourage them to achieve sporting championships, and highlight their skills in an atmosphere full of challenge and sportsmanship.
The competitions kicked off with football sevens matches for people of determination, where Al Ain Club for People of Determination team managed to achieve a 3-2 exciting victory over Abu Dhabi Club for People of Determination, while the second match ended with the Abu Dhabi Care and Rehabilitation Center winning over the Al Ain Care and Rehabilitation Center with a 2-1 score.
The matches witnessed an exceptional attendance, as fans interacted enthusiastically with the teams competing for the title of the first version of the challenge.
The atmosphere of challenge goes on tonight, with the launch of the Institutions Championship at Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Stadium (Al Qattara), where the match schedule witnesses six strong confrontations:

Abdullah Al Kamali: Hafeet Challenge….. aqualitative shift in Al Ain Ramadan nights
Abdullah Al Kamali, Executive Director of People of Determination Sector at Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, emphasized that Hafeet Sport Challenge represents a qualitative addition to Al Ain Ramadan activities, noting that the Organization includes 500 participants in various games; shooting, boccia, football, bocce, athletics, hand and air bikes, in addition to the U-16 games.
“This Championship, which is generously sponsored by His Highness the Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, represents a great joy for the public in the city in the Year of Community, as it includes all categories of women, men, children and people of determination in an atmosphere of intimacy and sportsmanship”, he continued.
“Moreover, this Championship represents a comprehensive sports and social hub that contributes to enhancing the role of sports in empowering people of determination, fostering interaction between different segments of society, and consolidating the values of positivity and challenge during the exceptional nights of Ramadan,” he concluded.
