The Jersey of the international Togolese forward player for Al Ain first football team, Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, which he was wearing during his team’s most recent match vs Khor Fakkan Club through the fourth round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League, sets a new record in the auctions of UAE Pro League, as it has been sold for up to one million AED, which is the highest price in the history of auctions organized by the UAE Pro League.
This jersey held the signature of Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba during the match, as per the request of UAE Pro League, so it gained more value besides its historical symbolic value that is closely connected with the player’s accomplishment.
During that match, Laba was able to realize an exceptional accomplishment by scoring a “Hat Trick”, with which he raised his aggregate up to 125 goals with Al Ain Club, to become the historical top scorer for Al Ain Club, exceeding the aggregate that stood still for more than 35 years and long held by Al Ain Club’s legend Ahmed Abdullah.
