Al Ain U23 Club was successful in taking over the top position of the local U23 Pro League after claiming a deserved victory over their host Sharjah U23 Club with the score of 2-0. This victory came in the match that brought the two teams together on the green pitch of Sharjah Club Stadium, during the 11th round of competitions of the local tournament.
Match first half was over with Al Ain U23 Club in the lead with one goal without any response, the goal was scored by Rilwanu Haliru Sarki, who is the Nigerian right winger for Al Ain U23 Club, in the minute of 45+1. His teammate Ibrahim Junior, who is the Senegalese midfielder for Al Ain U23 Club, managed to fortify his team’s victory by scoring the second goal in the minute of 82 of match’s lifespan.
With this result, Al Ain U23 Club managed to raise its aggregate up to 23 points and occupied the top position on the standings table of the local U23 Pro League.
