Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that his team has perfectly leveraged on the past period of time, in line with its preparations to take on its upcoming match vs Al Wahda Club. He also pointed out that the main sought after goal is to claim victory and match’s three points, as well as delivering a powerful performance that reflects the personality of Al Ain Club on the pitch.
During the introductory press conference for his team’s upcoming derby match vs Al Wahda Club, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, the day after tomorrow, on the pitch of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, during the 13th round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament, Al Ain Club’s head coach said that his team will be playing the upcoming match vs a powerful team that has in possession a squad of distinguished players. He also emphasized that the brilliant performance is still important, while claiming victory will always be the most important target.
The Serbian head coach praised the great role of his team’s fans, considering them as an integral part of Al Ain Club’s successful journey, whether they were attending a home or an away match. He also expressed his great confidence that fans attendance will increase as Pro League progresses and competition intensifies.
In response to the questions related to the absent players, Ivić explained that he prefers not to focus on this aspect, emphasizing that he has full confidence in the currently available squad of players. At the same time, he praised the positive performance of his players, which reflects discipline and sense of responsibility inside the team.
Over the Romanian newcomer, Adrian Gheorghe Șut, Ivić confirmed the player’s readiness to participate, expressing his total satisfaction over his physical and technical level.
