Al Ain Club fortifies its international partnerships by signing a memorandum of understanding with China’s Shanghai Shenhua Club

Al Ain Club signed a memorandum of understanding with China’s Shanghai Shenhua Football Club. The signing ceremony was attended by Gu Jiqing, who is the Shanghai Shenhua Football Club’s chairman of the board of directors, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, who is a member at the board of directors of Al Ain Club, as well as a number of officials from both clubs. Rashid Abdullah, who is the chief executive officer of Al Ain Investment company, signed on behalf of Al Ain Club. While Wang Shu Wi, who is the Shanghai Shenhua Club’s general manager, signed on behalf of his team.

This memorandum of understanding aims to fortify cooperation between the two sides in several strategic fields, including the exchange of technical expertise, the improvement of age categories, cooperation in scouting field and attracting talents, as well as sharing knowledge in the fields of sports management, marketing, as well as sports medicine.

The memorandum also includes discovering mutual trading opportunities, organizing offshore training technical programs, as well as exchanging the best administrative practices, in a way that contributes to supporting the sports development journey in both clubs.

This step comes in the framework of Al Ain Club’s strategy that aims to build qualitative international partnerships, promoting the club’s position on the regional and international levels, as well as supporting the futuristic vision in sports investment and the development of qualified personnel in different fields.
