Ivić: Our concentration is now focused on our upcoming match vs Al Wahda Club and it is not focused on the calculations of claiming the title
Every match for Al Ain Club is considered a final match in the race of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament
Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that the upcoming match of his team vs Al Wahda Club is considered a pivotal milestone in the decisive stage of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament, he also stressed that his team is focusing its full concentration over claiming victory and keep competing over the tournament’s title.
Al Ain Club will be hosted by Al Wahda Club during the 20th round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament, in the match that is scheduled to take place on the day after tomorrow, on Tuesday, the 17th of the current month of March, on the green pitch of Al Nahyan Stadium on 21:30 PM.
During pre-match introductory press conference, Ivić said that all matches during this stage of competitions of the current season requires much greater attention, so he added the following statement: “Every match we play is considered a very important milestone. And we do not choose our competing teams; we are also well aware that we will be playing vs all teams. While the upcoming match will be vs Al Wahda Club, who is the good and high quality team that we have full respect for their sought after ambitions.”
The head coach of Al Ain Club pointed out that the match which brought the two teams together in the first round of competitions ended with a positive draw 1-1, and it was a match that witnessed several fluctuations and scoring attempts for both teams, he also emphasized that the upcoming match will not be less than the first match in terms of power or competitiveness.
The Serbian head coach added the following statement: “It was a thrilling match, while the upcoming match will be also be a Derby match. As both teams have their own sought after goals in the competition race, so we have to be up to the highest degrees of concentration and readiness to take on a difficult match.”
The head coach of Al Ain first football team emphasized that his team’s sought after goal is clear in this match, so he said the following statement: “Our sought after goal is clear, which is to claim match three points. We are preparing very well and we are well aware that our task will not be easy.”
Over the competing team’s motives, Al Ain Club’s head coach stressed that playing vs his team grants any competing team an additional motive, so he explained with the following statement: “When any team plays vs Al Ain Club, they will be 100% motivated, which is something important for a football club the size of Al Ain Club.”
The Serbian head coach explained that the competition over the tournament’s title is still open in light of the remaining matches up until tournament’s end, he also emphasized that the team is occupied with calculations related to points.
He said the following statement: “I am not thinking about the number of the required points to claim the tournament’s title. While my full concentration is only focused on the upcoming match. We are dealing with the tournament on match-by-match basis.”
In the conclusion of his speech, Al Ain Club’s Serbian head coach sent a special message to the fans of The Boss, where he emphasized over the importance of supporting their team in this decisive stage of competitions of the current season.
So, he said the following statement: “The fans of Al Ain Club are well aware of how big the efforts exerted by the players all along the current season. While their efforts on the benches grant the team a great push forward, and we are playing for their sake and for the sake of the Club.”
