Under the framework of its strategic vision aimed at creating a promising football base and to prepare an upcoming generation who possesses the required mental and technical essentials for a bright future, Al Ain Club organized Football School festival for the players born in 2016-2017, with the participation of an elite group of certified private academies, whose names are the following: “Hammers Academy, Al Ain Club Private Academies, Al Ain Club U10, Al Mared Al Akhdar Academy, Red Lever Academy, La Masia Sporting Academy, Storm Center Academy.”

The festival witnessed the participation of 125 players coming from different academies, amongst rich atmospheres of positive competition and high spirited sportsmanship, in a way that reflects the interest of Al Ain Club in expanding the base of practitioners and provide a perfect environment to develop and hone the skills of young players.

Organizing this festival comes through the sustainable technical development program which is being implemented by Al Ain Club’s Academy Sector and Football School, with an aim to provide an educational, competitive, and motivational environment, which allows the players to manifest their skills and talent amongst positive atmospheres rich with enthusiasm, which also instills in their hearts the values and principles of clean and fair play, discipline, creativity, and collective teamwork.

This event witnessed a noteworthy participation of player’s parents, who were following with enthusiasm the brilliant performance of the young players, amongst atmospheres filled with the spirit of enthusiasm, affiliation, and encouragement, which underscores the pivotal role that family support plays in shaping the players’ personality and to promote their self-confidence from the earliest stages.

Al Ain Club continues to organize periodical festivals that contribute to promoting partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ private academies and uniting the standards of coaching and technical development, as well as exchanging experiences between the technical staffs, discovering the up and coming talents who are capable of representing the Club in the future in a variety of age categories, in a way the promotes sustainability of the Ainawi supremacy on the long term.

The festival was concluded with the honoring detail of all participating teams amongst distinguished and ceremonial atmospheres, as Abdullah Khoury, who is the supervisor over Al Ain Club’s Academy Sector and Football School, conducted the honoring of the participating teams and handling the commemorative shields, he also praised the brilliant technical level and the high spirited sportsmanship displayed by the players. He also emphasized that these events represent a true platform to discover football talents and honing their skills, as well as establishing and cementing the values of Al Ain Club in the hearts of the up and coming generations.

Khoury added the following statement: “We are feeling proud to have witnessed this high level of dedication and creativity amongst the young players, noting that such festivals represent the vision of Al Ain Club in creating a confident generation and educated in terms of sports, who also believe in the values of affiliation and collective teamwork.”
