Al Ain Club returns from its offshore boot camp with technical and physical gains with which the team will boost its readiness for the upcoming sporting season
On today’s evening, Al Ain Club’s expedition returned home after the conclusion of its inclusive offshore boot camp which spanned over two stages. The first stage took place in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, from the 20th to the 29th of the past month of July. The second stage took place in the Spanish city of Murcia from the 30th of the past month of July to the 10th of the current month of August. This boot camp took place through Al Ain Club’s preparatory plan for the upcoming football season.
Through the duration of the team’s offshore boot camp, the coaching staff lead Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, concentrated over claiming technical and physical gains by elevating the physical fitness rates, improving the team’s tactical harmony, boosting connectedness between team players, as well as enhancing stamina and muscular rehabilitation, working on the improvement of positioning on the forward and defensive lines of play, in addition to the implementation of dedicated training units related to quickly switching between defense and forward lines play, in a way that guarantees a high state of readiness for all players before the start of the official competition race.

Then they managed to claim victory over Spain’s Elche Club de Fútbol by scoring 4 goals against 3 goals for the competing team (4-3). Afterwards the team settled for a positive draw vs Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli football club with 1 goal for each team (1-1). Al Ain Club concluded the friendly matches by claiming the trophy of Granada City Cup in its 41th edition after claiming victory over the host Spanish football team Granada by scoring 4 goals without response (4-0). This offshore boot camp represented a valuable opportunity by which the player’s readiness under pressure has been evaluated.
Al Ain Club also fortified its ranks with several qualitative deals, which included signing a contract with Houssine Rahimi, who is the Moroccan forward player, Yahia bin Khaliq, who is the Moroccan center back defender, Marcel Ratnik, who is the Slovenian center back defender, Nassim Al Chadli, who is the Moroccan right winger, Adis Jašić, who is the Austrian right back defender, Ramy Rabia, who is the Egyptian center back defender, as well as the loan of Rafa Rodrigues, who is the Portuguese left back defender, for one season.
