Al Ain player, Mathias Balacius, stated that all of us are well-aware of the importance of Dibba’s match in the quarter-finals of the UAE President’s Cup and emphasized that this tournament is so special that it requires the highest levels of readiness.
“We definitely realize what is required of us against a good team, and we will play with a mindset based on respecting the opposing team and working hard to achieve our goal,” he added.
Balacius continued: “Personally, I look forward to add the title of the President’s Cup to my history with Al Ain after winning the AFC Champions League, as this tournament has a special status in everyone’s hearts.”
He referred to Al Ain fans’ ambitions, saying: “We look forward to return with the Cup to Al Ain, as we know that our fans aspire to this title since the last crowning in 2018, but our focus right now is on Dibba’s match as it is the most crucial point at this stage.”
He concluded his statements by emphasizing that the Cup matches require higher mental readiness, tactical discipline, and a strong determination to continue the journey.
