Crespo: Proud as we’re AFC Champions and ready for the challenge against one of the best Asian teams
Al Ain Argentine coach, Hernan Crespo, expressed his pride and honor as his team participates in the AFC Champions League Elite, as the Asian crowned champion last season, stating that: “We’re ready to challenge Al Hilal, KSA, tomorrow and we’re well aware that our task will not be easy because we will be confronting one of the best Asian clubs, but we trust in our abilities and the capabilities of all our team’s players and we will fight to achieve triumph and get the three points.”
“Whether we won or lost, our goal is to qualify for the next stage of the AFC Champions League Elite, which is what we always seek”, Crespo added in the introductory press conference of the match against Al Hilal, KSA, tomorrow.
“I hope that tomorrow we’ll appear in Al Hilal match in the same level that we were in our match against them last season, particularly since all our team players are fully prepared, except Yahya Nader who is still not ready to play. With all respect to Al Hilal and all its players, we look forward to winning, knowing that the task will not be easy, as I said, because we’ve a powerful rival and during 65 matches, it won 60, drew 4 and lost one match only. This confirms that it is an excellent team, but we must defend our identity strongly and confirm our worthiness”, he added.
