Addressed an Apology Message.. Pedro: We Achieved a Critical Victory and Had Upper Hand in the Derby Match
Al Ain First Football Team Portuguese Pedro Emmanuel inaugurated the post-match press conference of matchweek 20 of AGL by addressing an apology message for the Al Wahda Club for the misbehave incident committed by Fahd Hadid.
He said: “We came here to win and show high respect to the opponent per our well-established strategy, which is based on high respect to all opponents. It is a Derby match and an emotional one. Indeed, our target was crystal-clear and performed well to win the match result with all due respect to our opponent.”
Commenting on his team’s performance in this match, he said: “We achieved a critical victory over an important competitor, especially in the first half.”
He also addressed a congratulation message to the squad players for a job well done. “They played and committed to the pre-set plan and won the home team despite missing key 15 players, but they were up to the expectations.
Pedro showed his satisfaction with the young players’ performance and presented the victory to the fans. He stressed that it is a derby match, but we snatched important three points by the end of the day.
