In the presence of H.E. Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Football Company, Al Ain Club’s “Legends” surprised the Boss stars prior thy kick-off their final training session at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club in preparation for their clash round2 match of the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018 against Esperance de Tunisia.

Al Hajeri introduced the former legends of Al Ain to the players while underlining that the Tunisian Mohiuddin Hbaita and the Moroccan Ahmed Najah and his countryman Sharif Mustafa contributed to the Boss’ great achievements during a remarkable period throughout the past 50 years.

Al Hajeri stressed the fact that Al Ain Club is always keen to honour the former players and head coaches during big events. “They are here today to stand by the team in this international big event and as a sign of assertion that the club’s relationship with the loyal former players is not of a short-term nature, but exactly like long-term relationship that represents the spirit of the one cohesive family. We are so proud of being part of this lofty sport club and honoured to have the club’s legends among us today. They flew from all over the world to stand by the team and be able to achieve the ambitions of the team’s leadership, members and lovers. Our goal in this big competition is crystal-clear, that is to reach the furthest possible point and we provoke to Al Mighty God to grant us success in our mission.”

The Tunisian Mohiuddin Hbaita stated: “When we were players defending the logo of this great club, we had our minds set to win all our matches knowing exactly what we are meant to do to achieve our pre-set goals and to make the history linked with our names. We always equipped with challenging and fighting spirit and showing that from the kick off whistle until the last minute. Indeed, this is why we are loving this club and we will never stop.”

He added: “There are significant and unforgettable moments and achievements we still remember, and the same applies to you. You are experiencing these days extraordinary moments in your football career, because you are competing for the qualification card in a big competition.”

He drew the players’ attention that “the whole world” awaits the emergence of new names in football. “Those who want to make the history, they should know that it is their lifetime opportunity. Therefore, each one of you is required to exhibit the spirit of challenge and determination and fight. You must show your genuine potentials and boldly defend your club logo. We are not asking you to win because winning or losing a match is possible in football, but you must fight for you and us and all members of this entity. Yesterday, you were heroes even when you were down by three goals, everybody was standing next to your and did not let you go alone because simply you were real men in the filed. Each of you was fighting for the logo of his club until you turned the result in a historical and moving scene.”

Bin Hbaita went on in motivating the players by saying: “I repeat it again! You are experiencing historical moments that might not happen again. I say it from the bottom of my heart: if you show your genuine spirit of fighting, you will win Esperance de Tunisia and any team you will play against in this competition because you have the potential. The challenge in football is between 11 players against 11 and the most desirous and determined team to win will achieve their goal. We have full confidence in you all to play aggressively and defend the logo of this lofty big club.”

In his turn, the Moroccan Ahmed Najah expressed his sincere wishes of best of luck for the team to win and qualify to the next stage, given the quality and great skills that the players enjoy. “You have a great head coach and you can do it and make the history for your club. All of you know what he is required to do from the kick-off whistle until the end of the match.”
