Al Ain Club Crowns the Champs of the Public Schools League
With the participation of 33 public schools, the curtain had barely dropped on the Public Schools League held at the football fields of Al Ain Club during 28th October 2018 until 24th April 2019. The final match and crowing ceremony were attended by H.E. Ali Msarri Al Dahari, Board Member of Al Ain Football Company and Supervisor of Al Ain Football School and Branches, and Khalfan Saeed Al Shamesi, Administrative Officer of Al Ain Football School.
The final competitions kicked off on Thursday 24th April 209 with the participation of the schools of Narjis, Sadara, Nahaniya, Al Joud, Nema and Bokraih. The 4th Garde Team of Al Narjis School topped that standing table, followed by Al Sadra School who was placed second while the team of Nahaniya was placed third.
In the 3rd Grade competitions, Al Joud School Team was placed first, while Nema School Team won the second spot followed by Sadara School Team in the third place. As for the 2nd Grade competitions, Sadara School Team won the first place followed by Bokraih School Team who were placed second and Al Joud School Team clinched the third spot.
The top scorers of the league were as follows: Saoud Yaqoob of Al Narjis School from the 4th Grade, Abdullah Maah form Al Sadara School from the 3rd Grade competitions and Abdullah Ghazi from Al Joud School. The Best Player Awards were granted to Mashal Abdullah of the 4th Grade of Al Nahhaniya School, Hassan Salem from Al Joud School ass the best player of the 3rd Grade and Saeed Azhari from the Principles School as the best player of the 2nd Grade. Saeed Khalifa Al Ka’abi from the 4th Grade of Al Nahyania School was awarded the Best Goalkeeper, Rashid Srour from Nemah School as the best Goalkeeper of the 3rd grad competitions and Hilal Salem Al Rashidi from Al Sadara School as the best goalkeeper of the 2nd grade competitions.
