Al Ain Football Club Company has officially announced renewing the contract of Mohammed Abbas, 18 years old, for 4 seasons, Al Ain Club official website social platforms posted.

Ali Abdullah, Supervisor of Al Ain First Football Team, expressed his appreciation for the generous support of the Club’s senior management throughout the glorious history of the Club. He said that such support made the Club the best sports entity in Asia.

He pointed out the Club’s management has been working hard per a crystal-clear vision and successful strategic plans and they are paying attention to all aspect not the sports only.

The Team’s Supervisor hailed the young player for being a brilliant professional player who sets a role model for his teammates. He said: “He is a graduate of Al Ain Football Academy, one of the most prominent football academies in UAE and the continent as a whole. The academy adopts the best global practices to refine and further develop the talented and skilled players.”

He added: “The extension of the player’s contract comes as an affirmation of the keenness of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club to retain and care for the club’s sons and according to a future vision. This decision comes after the announcement at the beginning of the current season to extend the contracts of Mohammed Khalfan and Saeed Jumaa.

“The Professionalism Committee in charge of renewing the players’ contracts is currently working on the renewal of other players who have already graduated from the Football school and academy. The detailed news will be announced soon,” he said.

The Team Supervisor hailed Mohammed Abbas by saying that he succeeded in seizing the opportunity given to him in the right manner. “He exhibited his high and quality skills. He enjoys a professional mentality to present himself well for the coaching team and administrative staff. His teammates and Al Ain fans did confirm that he deserves to defend the Boss badge.”

Biography

Mohammed Abbas kicked off his football career at the age of seven when he joined the Al Ain Football School. He progressed through the club’s junior teams and began to develop remarkably. At the age of seventeen he played for the Al Ain U-21 Football Team, before he was officially promoted to the first team in the 2020-2021 season when he turned to eighteen years old based on a recommendation submitted by the Portuguese head coach, Pedro Emmanuel. Abbas says that he owes to all the coaches who trained him in the past various years, but the Iraqi head coach, Ghazi Fahd, had a clear imprint in his football career, as well as Moroccan head coach Mohammed Said Kulzim.

Mohammed Abbas played for the UAE National Youth Football Team before he joined the UAE National Olympic Football Team. The young player aspires to get his international badge by joining our first UAE National Football Team.
