Al Ain in Full Purple Kit and ES Sétif in Full White.. Amending the Timing of Al Ain and ES Sétif First Leg Match

As per the championship regulations, a technical meeting was held on Monday 30th July 2018 at the meeting room of Maksimir Stadium dedicated for discussing technical issues of the first leg match between Al Ain And ES Sétif. The meeting was chaired by Saudi Arabia’s Yahiya Al Qarni, Match Commissioner, and attended by Mohammed Al Kazzaz, Referees’ Assessor, Matthias Markovic, General Coordinator, and representatives of the two teams. Al Ain representatives included: Zoran Mamic, Al Ain’s Head Coach, Issam Abdullah, Al Ain’s Administrative Manager, and Khaled Mustafa, Al Ain’s Media Coordinator. Algeria’s ES Sétif representatives included: Ali Malak, Representative of the Algerian Football Association, Abass Kamal, Administrative Manager, Hashichi Kamal, Head of Delegation and Habshash Adlan, Logistics Officer. the meeting was also attended by a number of organizing committees of Croatia’s Dynamo Zagreb Club.

The Match Commissioner approved a recommendation submitted by the hosting club to amend the timing of the match to be 06:00 p.m. instead of 06:30 p.m. Zagreb local time (08:00 p.m. Abu Dhabi local time). He extended his sincerest appreciation for the genuine efforts exerted by Al Ain to hold the two matches in the Zagreb the capital, as well as keenness to make the stay of the members of ES Sétif and UAFA full of comfort and joy.

During the meeting, Al Qarni reviewed all the details related to the first leg match, the operational processes, organizational aspects, marketing and media aspects prior handing over the approved lists to the officials of the two teams and inspecting the players’ cards.

It was agreed that Al Ain will wear full “purple” kit with golden stripes, while ES Sétif will be wearing a full “White” kit.

Following winning the exclusive rights to broadcast the matches of the Arab Club Champions Cup, the Abu Dhabi Media Corporation (ADMC) through the Abu Dhabi Sports Channel has been so keen to take all the necessary arrangements for broadcasting the two matches of Al Ain against ES Sétif. The technical team the Abu Dhabi Sports Channel under the command of the brilliant reporter, Mansour Al Bloushi, set in motion the special coverage of the two matches ahead of time.
