We’ll miss Kouame against Al Nasr…the opponent is an organized team with excellent players

Al Ain Dutch coach Alfred Schreuder said: “as a coach of a prestigious team as Al Ain, I’m accustomed to dealing with pressures because such clubs are required to win every match. Therefore, we should focus on analyzing the opponent’s performance, improving our style, developing our technique from one match to another, always expecting the best and keeping the team’s morale high”.

Replying to a question about whether he analyzed the performance of Al Nasr, he said: “Yes, definitely, and I believe they deserve to get more points than they obtained in the last four rounds as they played well against Al Sharjah, as the team is organized and has good players”.

Commenting on a question whether he was concerned about Al Ain fans’ high expectations due to the continuous triumphs, he replied, “No, I am not concerned at all”.

Regarding the two goals conceded by his team against the Turkmen Ahal recently which revealed problems in the team’s defensive system, he said: “Actually, we gave the opponent the opportunity to score due to our lack of concentration. In football, when you perform well in the first half and score six, five, or three goals, you often find yourself lacking focus in the second half. The first goal came from an error from our side, and the second also came from the left side. But overall, we did not give them many chances, and that is the most important thing for me. We discussed this point with the players, emphasizing that we’re always looking forward to score and avoid conceding.”

Regarding the expected absences from his team squad in the upcoming round of ADNOC Pro League, he said: “We’ve no absences except for the suspended Kouame Autonne”.
