Al Ain set to take a new challenge in AFC journey
So close to win the AFC Champions League title for 2nd time, Al Ain will play today (Tuesday) the semifinals second-leg against Qatar’s El Jaish at Lekhwiya Stadium at 18:15 (19:15 Abu Dhabi time).
Unlike their hosts who seek to play the AFC final for the first time in their history, Al Ain is much more likely to do it for 3rd time. Backed with a 3-1 first-leg win, Al Ain will be content with a win, a draw or even a loss by 2 goals to pass to the final; while only a 2-0 win can keep El Jaish’s hopes alive to move to the final.
