Al Ain Wears the White Kit and Sharjah in Red.. UAE Pro League Holds Technical Meeting for ‘UAE Super Cup’
The UAE Pro League held on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, the technical meeting for the UAE Super Cup. The meeting was held at the meeting room of Al Maktoum in Al Nasr Club.
The meeting was chaired by UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani and attended by heads of the operations departments. Al Ain Club representatives included Ahmed Al Shamsi, Team Manager, in the presence of public relations, media and marketing, and fans departments officers. Al Sharjah Club delegation was headed by Ahmed Mubarak, Team Manager.
The UAE Super Cup, which will be held under the “Emirati Super” theme, will take place between Al Ain and Sharjah at Al Maktoum Stadium on Saturday, February 25th, 2023. Al Ain Team was labeled as “Team A” for winning the league title, while Al Sharjah is labeled as “Team B” for winning the Cup title.
It was agreed during the meeting that Al Ain would wear the complete white kit, and the goalkeeper would appear in the full black kit. Al Sharjah will play in a full red kit, and the goalkeeper will wear the yellow kit.
The meeting reviewed the two teams’ logistical, technical, organizational, and media arrangements.
It was decided the stadium’s gates would be open for the fans at 18:30: Al Ain: Premium Cat: Left side, Cat 1: Gate (10 &11), and Cat 2: Gate (6, 7 & 8). Meanwhile, Sharjah fans were assigned the following gates: Premium Cat: Right side, Cat 1: Gate (13 & 14), and Cat 2: Gate (16, 17 & 18)
