“The champs of the Boss fear no team even Real Madrid,” Matar Obeid Al Dhaheri “Al Sahbani”, Al Ain Team Manager. He insisted that Al Ain enjoys the spirit of fighting, challenge, determination and insistence to share the homeland joy.

“We have nothing to lose and this is what the whole world has seen since the kickoff of the second half of the first match against New Zealand’s Team Wellington until the last minute of the recent match against Argentine’s River Plate. ”

Responding to a question on the preparations for the team’s match against Real Madrid, he said: “Preparations were resumed as planned and program set by the head coach, Zoran Mamic. The team are well prepared for the final match and conducted their training sessions only 24 hours after their historical victory over the River Plate at Khalifa Stadium Bin Zayed in Al Ain Club.”

He added: “The head coach was keen to give the players a one- day break today as part of the training program meant for the intensive and speedy recovery of players from injuries, bruises and exhaustion. It was decided to leave to Abu Dhabi tonight to the team’s camp. The team will start their training session on Friday evening at 07:45 p.m. at Zayed Sports City. Also, the qualifying meeting will be held at 03:00 p.m. while the pre-match press conference will start at 06:00 p.m.”

In response to a question about the readiness of the “international” player of Al Ain, Ahmed Barman, to participate in the final match, he said: “Ahmad Barman had an MRI yesterday and doctors confirmed that he suffers from fatigue in the leg muscle. We have another 48 hours ahead of our confrontation against Real Madrid and definitely that the medical staff will spare no efforts to provide all players with required medical assistance. We hope that Barman will be ready by that time and be part of the head coach options.”
