Al Sahbani: The “Boss’” Players have Undertaken to Qualify and Defeat Esteghlal Tehran at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium
Matar Obeid Al Dhahri “Al Sahbani”, Al Ain First Team Manager, said, “The “Boss’s” players did their best in their match against Esteghlal Tehran on their pitch and among their fans, and the latter was able to snatch the points of the match at the last critical minutes through a penalty kick.”
Al Sahbani stressed that, “The “Boss’s” players had made their word following the end of the match in the change room to qualify to the next stage and defeat their opponent at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. I hope that they will translate their promise on the pitch. Personally, I always describe them as fighters in the field and I do have full confidence that they will be able to fulfill their promises. Indeed, there is no excuse for not qualifying at the expense of the Iranian team who must fly back to their home city with no points and by a result that will ensure the qualification of the “Boss” and we must be well aware that we are required to be careful and keep our net clean.”
He called on the fans of the team to respond to the Iranian fans, through the gigantic crowds, stout backup and the ideal support for the players of the team and to stand by them before the Kickoff shot, during the confrontation till the final whistle. The opponent team will leave Al Ain City, with God willing, as a loser.
He added, “We will not demand that the Ainawi Nation to adopt provocative policy against the players and the members of the delegation, nor will we think about the poor treatment of the opponent team as we found in Iran. Typically, we do not have to invite the fans to attend the team’s matches, but I find myself obliged today to request them to attend in crowds as we will have an important challenge and the team is in dire need for them in the last week of this season. Once more, I repeat the Iranian team has to leave UAE as a loser and be away from the continental competition, and I have full confidence in the stars of the team in achieving our ambition.”
