Al Sahbani: The Boss Stars Suffer No Pressures and They Know What They Want to Achieve in the Final against Real Madrid

FIFA held the technical qualifying meeting for the match between Real Madrid and Al Ain Club on Friday 21st December 2018 at the meeting hall of Zayed Sports City for the match scheduled between the two teams at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup.
The meeting was chaired by Guatemalan Mario Monterosa, FIFA General Coordinator, in the presence of Kyrgyz Pavel Luzanov, Match Commissioner, representatives of Read Madrid and Al Ain clubs and the local organizing teams.

It was approved at the meeting that Al Ain will wear the full black kit for the first time in the club’s history, and the goalkeeper will be in full green sport kit. Real Madrid will appear in full white kit and the goalkeeper will wear the blue. The referees will wear red sport kit.

Al Ain representatives included: Matar Obaid Al Dhaheri “Al Sahbani”, Team Manager, Issam Abdullah, Administrative Manager, Dr. Jorka Rakić, Team Physician, Khaled Mustafa, Media Coordinator, Haytham Al Iraqi, Team Secretary and Mansour Al Ali from the Local Organizing Committee.

Al Sahbani said that the players of Al Ain have done what they are meant to do in this tournament and reached the final deservedly. “They have nothing to lose in tomorrow’s match against Real Madrid. They have to show their heroic performance and confidence, high desire, determination and the spirit of fighting. Every player is required to resume his supreme performance and to celebrate his achievements in this Mondial. This is the summary of all what we talked about in our last meeting with the players.”

On the details of the qualifying meeting he attended today: “It is certainly a historic meeting and it is decided that Al Ain will wear the third outfit as team B according to the draw, and I hope that the team will succeed in achieving the desired goals.”

He added: “I have already said it many times before that everyone was waiting impatiently to see Al Ain in this big international event, because they are well aware of the value and position of this lofty entity who are entrusted now with the responsibility of defending the name of our dearest homeland in such international competitions. Indeed, the “Boss” did not let down the nation and kept their promise and vows. They are the first gulf club to qualify to the FIFA Club World Cup final and has received worldwide recognition and appreciation for such an achievement.”

Commenting on meeting the legends of Real Madrid on the margins of the qualifying meeting, he said: “We met during the meeting a number of Real Madrid legends like Emilio Butragenio and Roberto Carlos. I was very impressed by Emilio’s great memory. We met 12 years ago in the Spanish capital Madrid and asked me today to dress pin with the club logo as he admires the logo of the “Boss”. Roberto Carlos also expressed his pleasure to see Al Ain in the final match and expressed his admiration with the black outfit which the players will wear for the first time on Saturday’s final match.”
