Continuous strong results are more important than defeating Pakhtakor

Al Ain defender Erik Jorgens started the pre-match press conference for his team’s match against Ajman, scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, Saturday, at HBZS in the third round of ADNOC Pro League, saying, “Firstly, I’d like to thank God and Al Ain management for their valuable trust. No doubt that I live a crucial and decisive moment in my football career, and I promise everyone that I will spare no effort to meet everyone’s expectations and live up to this valuable trust”.

Replying to a question about his team’s preparations for Ajmanmatch, he said, “Certainly we’ll face an important challenge in our march in ADNOC Pro League, and we’re fully aware of our set target, with full respect for the ambitions of the opposing team, particularly we are playing on our pitch and among our fans”.

Replying to a question about the team’s morale after the AFC triumph, he said, “In football, triumphs always motivate the team to continue on the path of successes and enhance our confidence, especially when it comes in an Asian competition and away. The reality confirms that our win over Pakhtakor was important, but what’s more important is the continuous strong results. I hope our team will win both the titles of the League and the AFC Champions League”.

“I’d like to thank Al Ain fans who supported and accompanied us to Uzbekistan. This is important and not strange to Al Ain loyal fans. I hope to see them in our upcoming match against Ajman because they represent the number one player in our team’s lineup”, Erik concluded.
