I Do Trust Fans Would Support the Squad’s Players
Ahead of matchweek 10 of ADNOC Pro League against Al Jazira, Sergiy Rebrov was determined that the whole Boss squad is all set to play that match, although it would not be an easy mission, given it is scheduled after the FIFA days.
At the pre-match press conference held this evening, he pointed out: “I understand that all the international players were focusing on their national teams’ matches and flew long distances prior to arrival in UAE.”
Rebrov stated that the team played friendly matches in preparation for the coming game and expressed that he trusts that all the players are in form to play against Al Jazira.
In response to a question of his expectations regarding the match against Al Jazira, he said: “We are always keen to prepare well for all matches and to achieve this we only focus on our team and develop customized training sessions for each match. Furthermore, we analyze the competitor’s performance, and we are well aware that we play against the former winner of the league title of last season and definitely respect their aspirations.”
Commenting on a question on winning the Best Coach of the Month for the third time in a row, he explained that he appreciates the efforts of all who supported and voted for him. He pointed out that “it is a personal award and for me, I prefer to win all matches and clinch titles with my team by the end of the season. I believe that ADNOC Pro League is so tough and requires lots of effort.”
The Boss head coach concluded his statement by addressing a message to the fans, saying: “I do trust that the Boss fans would always be behind the team in all matches. I wish to see the stands assigned for them full of all loyal fans. I am sure players would spare no effort to make them happy and achieve their aspirations.”
