Amir Qarrawi: Sights Set to Snatch Qualifying Card
ES Sétif midfielder, Amir Qarrawi, stated in the pre-match press conference that his team is required to maintain their lead during the return match against Al Ain. “We all understand that our mission will not be a piece of cake, but our head coach has already corrected the mistakes we committed during the first leg match during the recent training sessions and take all measures to make use of the evident gaps that our opponent team is suffering from. I hope that my team will be able to win the coming match and qualify to the last-16 teams of the Arab Club Champions Cup.”
He added: “It was a good time for us to take breath following a long flight to Croatia and a big away match we played in CAF African Champions League.” he concluded: “I can assure you all that our team will be in better shape in the coming second leg match and our goal is clear-cut. I hope that we will be able to perform well against our opponent and qualify to the following stage of the championship.”
