In a pre-match press conference, Al Ain’s leader Omar Abdurrahman confirmed that the team would play their best to take advantage of their last postponed game versus Al Jazeera to improve their ranking at the AGL table.

He stressed that though loss in football is painful; it’s not uncommon and can be easily addressed by great clubs that are used to win championships. “Losing a game is not the end; it’s motivates us to double our efforts and regain our balance, so we can achieve our objectives for the current season,” he said.

Omar pointed out that Al Jazeera would fight to protect their leads by scores, but “We are determined to reduce their lead to one point only in our last postponed game,” he added.

He viewed the fans as one of the key players though they stay at the stands because they provide the players with the required motivation to achieve the best results; “Hopefully, we can all, players and fans, combine our efforts to achieve our common goals.” He concluded.
