Al Ain Team midfielder, Khaled Al Blooshi, pointed out that the Boss squad has specific goals for all coming matches.
“We always prepare for each match separately and our next mission will be in the President’s Cup against Shabab Al Ahli who we respect their aspirations but we will go to Rashid Stadium to win the home team and qualify to the semi-final match,” Al Blooshi stated in the pre-match press conference of the quarter-final match of the President’s Cup.
Commenting on a question on playoff quarter-final stage and the principle of equal opportunities, he said: “Absolutely, that the draw gave the opponent the right to select the match field. However, we, in Al Ain Club, do not seek excuses and fear no team to play against at their home stadium, because simply the Ainawi Nation gives us the upper hand whether we are playing at home or away.”
“Ainawi fans enjoy the culture of ideal cheering up and massive support in all matches. We are confident they will be there boosting the players’ moral to qualify to the semi-final match from Rashid Stadium,” Al Blooshi concluded.
