Asprilla: No ceiling to our aspirations on the Asian Championship
Al Ain FC’s player, the Colombian Danillo Asprilla, stressed the importance of his team’s win in today’s game versus Esteghlal Tehran FC, saying: “We do respect the aspirations of our rival team, being fully aware that ours will not be an easy task, but fierce games promote our desire to get positive results, and we are required to get back from Azadi Stadium with the best performance that leads up to get the three points and take a further step towards AFC Champions League quarter-final”.
Asprilla emphasized that Al Ain’s short-term aim is to qualify to next stage of the Asian championship, pointing out: “There is no limit for Al Ain FC aspirations, particularly when it comes down to the Asian Championship which we were on the very brink of winning last year, but our major preoccupation now is to beat Esteghlal Tehran FC, and I hope it will be a success”.
