BETIS WINS ATALAYA BY 2-0 AND QUALIFIES FOR THE FINAL MATCH OF HBZ U-16 TOURNAMENT

Real Betis qualified for the final match of HZB U-16 Tournament following their thrilling win over Argentina’s Deportivo Atalaya by 2 clean goals in the semi-final match. The Spain’s team exhibited stunning and high performance specially in the second half during which their two stars were able to score the only two goals of the match, namely: Otis Suarez (D77) and Delgado Romero (79).

The first half ended goalless after an average performance by the two sides as the concentration of paly was confined to the middle of the pitch with the commitment of the two team’s players with the defensive tasks to avoid conceding any goal. Following the first 15 minutes of the kickoff whistle, the goalkeeper of the Argentine’s Atalaya saved his net from a goal as he palmed off the ball twice two shots sent by Alejandro and Rovo. The Argentine team suffered a painful blow with the start of the second half when the referee sent Braza Alexis off with a red card in his pocket for tough tackling of one of Betis’ players. This situation forced the head coach, Ramos Pedro, to face a difficult reality by changing his strategy of play and to rely on counterattacks. However, in the last minutes of the match Real Betis was able to score their lead goal at 77 through the team’s star Otis Suarez. It took the team only two minutes to score their second goal by Delgado Romero at 79. Again, the referee was forced to penalize Deportivo player Seiler Tibat by sending him off the pitch by red card in the last minutes of the match 80+3 due to deliberate roughness.
