Mohammed Obaid Hammad, a member of the Steering Committee of the Al Ain Football Club Company, and head of the Al Ain Team in Spain, hailed the seriousness, discipline, and genuine desire exhibited by all team members during the summer away training camp.
In his statement to the Al Ain Club official website, he said, “So pleased by the commitment of the players and admin teams to the camp’s regulations and controls and the level of supervision and follow-up from the coaching teams and administrative staff, the medical team, the nutrition specialist and logistical work teams.”
“The positive atmosphere experienced by the whole one family here contributes to boosting morale and gives the team motivation to perform intensive and arduous morning and evening training sessions,” he added.
Hammad emphasized that H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Company, is constantly following up on the situation of the team in the camp.
“His attention to details triggers all the team member’s motivation to boost their efforts to achieve the pre-set and desired goals and make the loyal Ainawi fans happy by the end of the new season,” he commented.
Regarding the team’s program, he said: “Based on the coach’s requirements and his technical vision, coordination was made with the technical staff of the teams that Al Ain will play against during the current period with the main goal of organizing these friendlies. It is all about serving the plan of holding this away training camp on the technical and physical levels. The friendlies are meant to complement the tactical programs. Al Ain will play four friendly matches in Spain and two friendly matches after returning to Al Ain City.”
Hammad explained further that the first friendly match for Al Ain Team is scheduled to be held against the Spanish team Cotillas FC tomorrow morning, Friday, corresponding to 14th July 2023, and on the evening of the same day, the Reserve Team will meet Spain’s Deportivo Murcia.
“The main goal of the friendly matches is to give the coaching team of both teams a chance to evaluate the level of all players at this stage,” he concluded.
