The Asian Football Confederation held yesterday morning a technical meeting to put the final touches on the 2016 AFC final second-leg between Al Ain FC and the South Korean Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors that will be held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium this Saturday. Chaired by Chin Mann Jel, AFC Competitions Director, the meeting was attended by other AFC Division directors, representatives of both competing teams and local organizers.

“We’re quite sure the final will run as perfectly as planned and will mirror the shining image of Asia; first, because it will be an exceptional and unprecedented match as it is played between the top two teams in Asia at one of the world’s most iconic stadia; and second, we assigned top officials from Asia to officiate it,” Chin said at the end of the meeting.

Rashid Abdulla, Commercial and Operations Director of Al Ain Club Investment Company, welcomed the AFC officials and the South Korean competitors wishing them a good stay at Al Ain city.

It was unveiled in the meeting that Al Ain players will be wearing all purple while Jeonbuk players will be in full green.
