We Could Have Scored Five Goals.. Rebrov: We Must Enhance the Defensive Roles of the Team
“We played the match in two different halves. It is not a secret that it is difficult for me to explain why the team’s performance gets better in the second half,” Sergiy Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference of matchweek 11 of ADNOC Pro League against Bani Yas.
Al Ain Team’s head coach stated that it is a must to handle this issue in the right way.
He added: “It is important to create chances, reach to the opponent, and score. Today, we could have scored five goals compared to the chances we created.”
Meanwhile, he confirmed that Bani Yas’s squad could return to the match and perform well until they equalized.
Sergiy Rebrov stressed that the team should focus on the defensive roles performed by the whole squad and properly boost the team’s defensive performance.
