Deservedly Holding the Top Spot.. The Boss Defeats Al Dhafra Knights by 1-0 in Gulf Cup
Al Ain champs won the Western Knights again by 1-0 in matchweek 4 of the Gulf Cup in the match held at Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara. Caio Lucas scored the leading and sole goal of Al Ain.
The win takes the Boss to Group B’s first spot with nine points from four games and become so close to the quarter final stage of the Cup. Meanwhile, Al Dhafra occupies the fourth spot with four points.
The Boss waited until the 27th minute to break the deadlock and taking the lead when Caio and Saad Khamis exchanged short tactical deft passes prior the latter show off his high-quality skills and scoring in the back net of the goalkeeper with full confidence.
Al Ain wasted a lot of easy chances during the two halves of the match before the whistle of the referee Ahmed Issa announced the end of the match while the board shows the result of 1-0 in favor of Al Ain.
