“We have to keep the top-level performance and winning opponents with all due respect to Ajman Team who is doing well in their matches of the league,” Al Ain Team’s defender Mohammed Shaker stated in the pre-match press conference of matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The star player added: “The return of certain key players to the squad absolutely would boost the squad strength. We know well what we are meant to do to achieve our goals and make our fans happy with all due respect to all opponents, particularly the guest team.”
Shaker pointed out that the team’s preparations go well and as planned under the supervision of the coaching teams under the command of Sergiy Rebrov.
“The head coach did analyze the opponent’s strengths, and weaknesses and our team’s strategy in handling such matches are crystal-clear, i.e., to focus on each match separately,” he commented on the team’s preparations for matchweek 12 scheduled to be held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
Commenting on his sensational performance in recent matches, he said: “It is all about the grace of God, the trust of the coach and administrative staff, and the substantial support of the loyal fans and my teammates.”
