For History.. The Boss is Global

It is certain that Al Ain qualification to the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018 and crossing over the first round is one of the historic and unique achievements, given the fact that the FIFA revealed based on their observations that Al Ain is the first team in the whole world who came from three goals down to beat the visitors. Such achievement was not coincidental but attributed to the generous support the success strategy set up by H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, First Vice President of the Honorary Council & Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club. Indeed, he developed an ideal mechanism for the work of each company, sector, management and unit in the Al Ain Club, in order to keep up with the indicators of development and achieve the highest levels of success.
The FIFA also reported that Al Ain is the first team in the world throughout the 15 editions of the Club World Cup to play as a host team and playing at home and among their fans. I did mention in several occasions that is a source of pride and honor to be part of this international Mondial. Additionally, what makes this international event special is that it is held in the “Year of Zayed” and coincides with the Golden Jubilee of this entity whose history is full of significant achievements, as well as selecting the purple as the color of the year 2018.
Our joy was incomparable by hosting the legends in this Mondial in realization of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to extend a personal invitation to all those who contributed to the achievements of this prestigious sport entity over the past 50 years to attend this international sport event. I would like also to avail this opportunity to thank my brothers H.E. Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Deri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club Investment Company, and H.E. Hamad bin Nukhirat Al Ameri, Managing Director, for their continuous communication with the club’s members and founders and adopting this great idea and working on implementing it in the right manner.
All UAE athletes, especially members of the Al Ain Club, are proud and honored by the Boss qualification to the FIFA Club World Cup being the champion of not only the league but also the champion of the AFC Champions League 2003.
We are very confident in the keenness of all Al Ain fans and lovers of the UAE football in our beloved homeland to stand side by side with the representative of the UAE in their national mission, to embody together the concept of roles integration, regardless of their positions to achieve our global aspirations.
We have also to be proud of the champs generation whose determination, fighting spirit and the will of genuine men made every citizen and resident happy and satisfied with global achievement. Indeed, their heroic achievement and performance and their spirit that does not recognize the language of despair proved the fact that the Boss stars are always up to all challenges and to the expectations of our wise leadership and worthy of defending the name and reputation of the UAE football in international events.
Also, it gives me a pleasure to thank the coaching team headed by the head coach Zoran Mamic, who proved himself to be up to the challenge and the administrative staff led by my brother Mohammed Obaid Hammad, Board Member and Supervisor of the First and Reserved Football Teams, for their dedication ability to overcome the difficult circumstances and to face all pressures.
Finally, I would like to pay tribute to the fans of Al Ain Club for their unlimited and massive support for their team in all local and continental competitions. We all are confident that the team will always be supported by the UAE football fans in their global mission.
