Al Ain FC fans must have no reason to worry about their most favorite football star Omar Abdurrahman. His trip today morning to Barcelona, Spain, is just for routine medical checkups intended by Al Ain FC, to make sure that ‘Amouri’ will be physically fit to lead his team. H.E Mohamed Obeid ‘Hammad’, Board member of Al Ain FC Company and General Supervisor of Al Ain First and Backup Teams, Said.

“We saw Amouri’s suspension a perfect opportunity to get reassured about his fitness because he has exerted massive efforts and played local, continental and international matches every other 4 or 5 days since the beginning of the season,” he added.

Hammad pointed out that Omar is the sort of a ‘warrior’ with a leader personality and he is a key pillar of the National team and Al Ain FC team, so he is expected to be more productive on the field; “For this reason and to prepare Omar for the future challenges, we decided he should have medical checkups,” he continued.

“Khalid Eissa and Mohamed Fayez have reached the last stage of their rehab program to rejoin the team, but coach Zlatko saw it was better not to put them on the starting list before they have completely recovered” he added.

He unveiled that the young player Rayan Yaslam had recently undergone a successful cruciate ligament surgery in Spain and as a result he will not be seen on the pitch for a long time.
