H.E Mohamed Obeid ‘Hammad’, Board member of Al Ain FC Company and Supervisor of Al Ain First and Backup teams, welcomed Al Ain’s newly contracted Bandar Al Ahbabi back ‘home’.
“The deal wouldn’t have been successfully concluded without the mutual willingness by Zlatko and Bandar himself who initiated his career in Al Ain Football School since he was still very young and remained in contact with the Club,” he explained.
“The Club’s Professionalism Committee.” He continued, “endorsed Zlatko’s recommendation to sign Bandar. And I’d like, on this occasion, to convey my deep thanks and appreciation to the management of Baniyas Football Club for dealing elegantly and professionally during the negotiations.”
“Bandar will definitely add the desired value to the team since he is familiar with the club and fellow players. We wish him luck during his career with Al Ain during the upcoming games, and we do expect him to deliver a remarkable performance as ever”, he added.
Hammad pointed out that Bandar’s loan move to Al Dhafra when he was still young and then transfer to Baniyas was intended to provide him with the necessary experience especially when he had no opportunity to play with his original team.
“While on loan, Bandar has successfully seized this opportunity and managed to improve his performance and prove himself a notable footballer with both All Dhafra and Baniyas. Besides, he was targeted by many local clubs”, he confirmed.
Hammad also pointed out that Al Ain was in negotiation with some clubs, but they refused to give their players on loan.
