Though he took over as Al Ain’s new head coach just 48 hours ago, the Croatian Zoran Mamić confirmed that his new squad was ready to take the challenge of Round 17 of AGL tournament versus Al Nasr.
Zoran pointed out that he had watched many video footages of his team; “I’m familiar now with my Emirati and foreign players’ strengths and weaknesses; I believe they have the required capabilities to take the coming challenges,” he said.
Looking forward to making history locally and continently with Al Ain, Zoran made it clear that he places no cap on his ambitions with Al Ain; “I absolutely trust the players I’ll select for the starting list. Team work will be my key approach; all coaching, medical and administrative staffs will strive together to achieve our common goals,” he explained.
He pointed out that he had watched Al Nasr’s last encounter with Al Ain in the President’s Cup and collected valuable information about its players; “their counterattacks and organized defense pose a serious threat,” he added.
Looking ahead, Zoran confirmed that “Hard work will be our slogan for the next stage; our actions rather than words will speak for us. Besides, I highly trust Al Ain; it’s a great club with highly skilled players.”
“I’ll do whatever I can do for my new team; together we will work hard and seriously; all I need is little luck and great support.” He concluded.
