Hernán Crespo, the Argentine manager of Al-Ain, expressed his pride, appreciation, and cheerfulness over Al-Ain players output, the players who managed to claim a good result, which in turn satisfied Ainawi nation at the team’s Asia match evening vs a strong and distinctive rival, pointing out that his team is very well aware that there is another match looming ahead at Riyadh, he also considers this match as the first half of AFC Champions League semi-finals.

He went on: “We are required to concentrate on the second leg match, also, we are well aware that our quest will not be easy, but we are in possession of distinctive players especially that AFC Champions League’s atmospheres are very different from the local tournament.”

Commenting on a question on whether this evening’s victory over Saudi Al-Hilal is considered a payback for an old debt, he said: “In football realm anything is possible to take place, so we have to deal with matches with the needed mentality to be able to accomplish our goals, and when talking about my team I always prefer to respect the rival teams.”
