Al Ain is not looking for justifications due to the consecutive matches in all competitions

The players’ sense of responsibility is the most important factor for the Boss (Al Zaeem’s) return to competition

Mohammed Obaid Hammad, member of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management and the the Supervisor of Al Ain First Team and the Reserve Team, praised the performance of the Boss (Al Zaeem’s) players against Shabab Al Ahli, emphasizing that everyone was keen to show the spirit of victory and responsibility for defending our badge, which represent our custom.

Hammad praised the strong Ainawi support for the players and the crucial role played by Al Ain fans in promoting the team’s power at Rashid Stadium through their continuous cheering and support for the players, which practically contributed to our return to Dar Al Zein (Al Ain City) with the three points.

…. “Actually, winning today’s match was important for returning to competition, particularly since the journey is still too long. However, all team players are well aware of their duty in order to achieve the club’s clear targets, and we ask God Almighty to grant us success and good luck,” he continued.

Commenting on a question about the team’s program in light of the consecutive matches, as the team plays two or even three matches within three consecutive days, if we consider the Reserve team list includes some of the players registered in the AFC Champions League, he said: “Actually, we are required to adapt to our circumstances, and we must not look for justifications due to the consecutive matches as much as finding possible solutions to overcome all these challenges. Therefore, the preparation program for this period involved a closed camp after Shabab Al Ahli match, as the team returns to its residence at Dar Al-Zein, and tomorrow morning, the players who didn’t participate in the match of the eighth round of ADNOC League will perform a training session while the main players will make recovery sessions, in preparation for Pakhtakor match.”

In response to a question about the injury of the South Korean, Park Young-woo, he said: “The player suffered a muscle injury, and in order for the injury not to get worse, the team doctor recommended a substitution, and the player is scheduled to undergo examinations and MRI to determine the time needed for treatment and returning to the collective training.”

Speaking about Al Ain’s ambitions in the two Asian matches, after securing the qualification, he said: “Al Ain vision and targets are clear, and actually, the team is  required to win every game despite its convenient status at the top of Group A and official qualification. In all the challenges, particularly on the Asian level, Al Ain must appear in an honorable image consistent with its name and continental status. Moreover, the technical and medical staff will work to recover the players tomorrow morning, as I mentioned, to determine the most appropriate list Pakhtakor match, after which the team will leave for Turkmenistan to face Ahal at the end of its matches in the Group stage.”
