I Receive Full Support from the Al Ain Club’s Management and Fans.. Rebrov: We Compete to Win All Titles as Long as We Have Any Single Chance to Do So
Sights Are Set to Win Al Sharjah in ADNOC Pro League
“Everyone knows how important tonight’s match is! It is the semifinal match of the President’s Cup and we prepared well for it properly. The same applies to the opponent who was ready for this clash match.” Sergiy Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference of his team match against Al Wasl held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday 14th April 2023.
The head coach of Al Ain Team added: “The atmosphere was motivating on the pitch and even in the stands of the stadium. We dominated the match since the kickoff whistle and created lots of chances to score. We did it and scored our first goal in the first half. Following sending the goalkeeper off the pitch with red card in his pocket, we faced a challenge in the backline but we did not give the opponent the chance to score against us. We did it and qualified to the final match. I would like to congratulate the team players, the Club’s management and loyal fans for this victory.”
Commenting on the media reports stating that Al Ain focuses only on the President’s Cup as the team got no chances to compete to win the league title, he said: “I do not agree with this opinion, as we must focus on each match separately and as long as we have chances to compete to win the title of all championships, we will spare no effort to do so. All sights are set to play against Sharjah on the ADNOC Pro League.”
On same media reports stating that he signed to train Ukraine National Football Team for 10 years, he said: “I believe to train my national football team for ten years is no more than a “joke”. I have a contract with Al Ain that ends by this season. I am currently working with Al Ain and happy with the support I receive from the Club’s management, the players’ quality and the fans’ support. However, I have not made my mind until now.”
