Ismael Ahmad: We Will Fight to Achieve the Boss and Ainawi Fans Aspirations
The UAE National Team defender and the Captain of Al Ain FC, Ismael Ahmad, said that the FIFA Club World Cup is absolutely a different competition as it is linked to exceptional challenges in terms of playing against different champs coming from all the world continents. “The clash matches we are awaiting for will make us so eager and determined to deal with even tiny details that will make the difference in our spot in the standing table of the competition.”
He added: “Players do understand what they are meant to do in such a global competition. It is a very important one not only because we are defending the logo of the Al Ain Club, but also as we are representing our dearest homeland.” He stressed that the team is so determined to exhibit their quality skills in the pitch and push themselves to the limit to realize the desired aspirations.
On his team’s pre-preparation for the opening match, he stated: “Indeed, the team’s head coach Zoran Mamic took all the necessary arrangements to guarantee that we qualify to the final stage of this competition. Not to forget the support of loyal fans who for sure we will attend the match in massive numbers standing behind their great team.” He put an accent on the fact that “Al Ain will prepare for each match separately given that we are going to play against several champions of the world and different styles of playing and hope we will be lucky enough to win all our matches.”
“Al Ain is fully ready for the FIFA Club World Cup and sights are set to win the big challenges. We are determined to realize the aspirations of all our fans inside and outside UAE. Taking part in this international competition is our motive to achieve great results in the team’s other competitions,” he said.
Commenting on a question that the fans will exert lots of pressure on the team during this competition, he said: “Let’s agree on the fact that the Al Ain fans are the No.1 player in the team’s starting lineup. They are always supporting the team in a creative and amazing way and never let us down whatever the circumstances. Indeed, we are so lucky to have such type of loyal fans and we are confident that they will be there cheering up their favorite team. However, I do not agree that fans are exerting any type of pressure on the team as achieving great positive results is a target for the team and this motivates us to play hard and handle any issues facing us to be able to achieve the desired goals.”
