ISMAIL AHMED: WE PROMISE TO APPEAR STRONG AGAINST ALL COMPETITORS
Ahmed Ismail, the defender of Al Ain Football Team and UAE National Football Team, confirmed that his team is expected to exert and pay more pronounced efforts against Al Ahli KSA in the second round of the groups stage of AFC Champions League, so that we can win the match that will enhance our chances to qualify to the next stage.
He said, “We are all well aware that our match against Al Ahli KSA will not be an easy match specially it is held here at home because the players believe it is an enormous responsibility and it is important to have a positive result. Indeed, each team will be keen to show their fighting spirit and focus on executing the technical strategies, and ultimately our goal is to win and make our fans happy.
Replying to a question regarding the superiority of Al Ain in its matches against Al Ahli KSA in the AFC Champions League, Ismael said, “I think that football recognizes only those who are able to give in the pitch, and that the previous results of the two teams are something of the past. We are always looking forward to playing and demonstrating strong appearance that leads us to a positive result against a good team. Indeed, we will fight to achieve our goal.”
“We certainly respect all the competing teams. I do believe that playing against a strong competitor with players of high quality, skills and technical standards gives us the strong motivation to deliver the best we have,” said he in response to a question regarding how they plan to minimizing the efficiency of the strikers of the opponent team. He added, “I personally do promise to demonstrate strong performance regardless the name of our opponent.”
